We’re beyond thrilled to unveil the official 51st Annual Girdwood Forest Fair design, created by Sally Carraher!

 This piece is a true tribute truly encompasses the nature, wildlife and music that thousands of festival-lovers flock to each year, and we are so excited to have this design headline the 2026 Forest Fair.

T-Shirt Design Contest Information

Calling all artists – The Girdwood Forest Fair will be accepting T-Shirt designs for the 2027 shirt design contest starting in February 2027. The winner will have their design printed on all Girdwood Forest Fair Merchandise for the year chosen.

Artwork Submission Details:

All designs should be submitted to the

• Four Valleys Community School office at the Girdwood Elementary School OR
• the Great Alaskan Tourist Trap in the strip mall at Alyeska and Seward Highway
• Emailed to – gfftshirt@gmail.com
• Deadline: April 1, by 5pm. 

Artwork Requirements:

• No Name on front of Artwork
• Original Artwork specifically for the Girdwood Forest Fair
• To include the following text:
  • 52nd Annual
  • Girdwood Forest Fair
  • July 2,3,4 2027

Winner Receives:

• The winner will receive $50 and 2 free T-Shirts.
• The Forest Fair Committee will chose the design by May 1, 2027 and contact the design winner.
• Designs submitted electronically is subject to color changes based on printing method.

If selected, the artwork will become the property of Girdwood Forest Fair, which Girdwood Forest Fair will utilize it for merchandising and advertising purposes as needed.
